* Michael L. Arens, 26, 561 E. 19th St., pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine for an Oct. 15, 2007, incident. His trial is scheduled for April.
* Joshua D. Molczyk, 23, Alda, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine for a May 10, 2007, incident. He will enter the Central Nebraska Drug Court Feb. 1.
* Mardell J. Stanfill, 58, 200 Stoeger Drive, pleaded not guilty to tampering with a witness for an incident that occurred between March 18 and June 1, 2007. His trial is scheduled for April.
* Bradley W. Eidum, 48, address unknown, pleaded no contest to theft by deception for an Aug. 15, 2006, incident involving property of St. Francis Medical Center. His sentencing is scheduled for March 13.
* Kimberlie A. Hypes, 24, Chapman, was sentenced to intensive supervised probation and was ordered to pay $2,596 restitution for three counts of writing insufficient/no funds checks for incidents that occurred between June 27 and Aug. 23, 2006.
* Justin C. Berst, also known as Justin Bucholz, 29, 706 S. Pine St., was sentenced to six months in jail for possession of Vicodin for an Aug. 9, 2007, incident. Charges of theft by unlawful taking and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed for the same incident. He was also sentenced to one year to two years, six months in prison for second-degree assault for a Sept. 28, 2007, incident involving Bobby Lammons.
* Edward A. Long Jr., 23, 816 Sky Park Road, had a charge of possession of methamphetamine dismissed for a Nov. 14, 2007, incident.
* Arthur D. Shafer Jr., 26, 3528 Deann Road, No. 22, pleaded no contest to felony possession of burglar's tools, and misdemeanor criminal mischief, attempted theft by unlawful taking and theft by receiving stolen property for an Oct. 30, 2007, incident. His sentencing is scheduled for March 13.
n Eric J. Garcia, 17, 1424 W. First St., pleaded guilty to escape for an Aug. 9, 2007, incident. A charge of misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking was dismissed for the same incident. His sentencing is scheduled for March 11.
* Jerrod D. Mai, 23, 415 S. Cherry, was sentenced to one to two years in prison for assault by a confined person for a Nov. 7, 2007, incident.
* Jeffery R. Crowell, 30, Wood River, was fined $100 for misdemeanor child abuse for a May 17, 2007, incident.
* Scott A. Luiken, 36, Moline, Ill., was sentenced to one to three years in prison for false imprisonment for a May 15, 2006, incident involving Sarah Schwartz.
* Juan C. Ceja-Mandijano, 27, 1821 W. Ninth St., was sentenced to one to two years in prison for first-degree sexual assault on a child for an incident that occurred between Jan. 1 and July 31, 2006.
* Jace J. Bryant, 20, 2830 Fort Worth Ave., was sentenced to three years probation and was ordered to pay $250 restitution for distribution of marijuana for an April 20, 2006, incident. Two additional charges of distribution of marijuana for April 6 and April 25, 2006, incidents were dismissed previously.
* James Ross Jr., 41, address unknown, was sentenced to four years, six months to five years in prison for first-degree sexual assault on a child for a May 1, 2006, incident.
* Robert T. Gadsby, also known as Tracy T. Gadsby, 26, 910 N. Boggs Ave., Apt. 709, pleaded not guilty to distribution of methamphetamine for an April 10, 2007, incident. His pretrial is scheduled for Feb. 28.
* Juan Sanchez Jr., 23, 560 E. 18th St., was sentenced to eight months in jail and fined $100 for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia for an April 3, 2006, incident.
