In celebration of Rhoda Christensen's 85th birthday, an open house will be hosted by her family from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Indianhead Golf Club, 4100 W. Husker Highway, in Grand Island.

Her family includes her husband Ray; and children, Marlys and Mel Sems of Grand Island, Judy and Rick Hiser of Riverside, Calif., Janet and Bob Blair of Napa, Calif., Dan and Rosanne Christensen of Wolbach, Cindy and Pete Luth of Lincoln, Sherri and Brent Karley of Austin, Texas, Burel Doll of Brighton, Colo., and the late Lana Doll. She has 23 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Christensen was born Feb. 10, 1923, in Howard County.
