Gamblers snap 14-game winless streak vs. Tri-City

GREEN BAY, Wis. Mike Borisenok's goal in the third period helped Green Bay snap a 14-game winless streak with a 4-3 win over Tri-City on Saturday.

Borisenok scored at 9 minutes, 42 seconds to give the Gamblers their first win since Dec. 15.

Green Bay (10-25-3) took a 2-0 first period lead on Tri-City for the second straight night.

Max Cook converted on the power play at 9:55 and Keegan Flaherty added another at 13:22.

Chris Hickey scored unassisted at 18:06 to pull Tri-City (16-19-2) within 2-1.

The Storm got goals from Jordan VanGilder and Troy Mattila within the first 8:26 of the second period to go up 3-2.

Borisenok's first goal of the game came at 14:34 of the second on the power play to tie the game.

Aaron Rock finished with 21 saves and an assist for Tri-City, which returns home against Sioux City on Tuesday.
