Grand Island Police
The following felonies were reported:
* Paul Harris, 2211 Grand Island Ave., reported a theft at 423 W. 15th St.
* Rodney Clark, 4212 W. Highway 30, reported a theft at 3021 S. Locust St. A collector's coin was stolen.
* Todd Goshorn, 3107 W. 18th St., reported a burglary there. Items were stolen from the garage.
* Christopher Lenz and Haley McMahon, 3116 W. 17th St., reported a burglary there. Items were stolen from vehicles in the garage.
* Mauricio Gomez-Caja, 616 Curtis St., Apt. 1, reported a theft there. A car stereo was stolen.
* Evelin Morales, 604 W. John St., reported a criminal impersonation. A person was arrested.
Hall County Sheriff
Law enforcement arrested eight people on warrants in eight cases. No felonies were reported.

Hall County District Court
* Enrique Quintero-Lopez, 31, 2603 W. Second St., was sentenced to one to two years in prison for assault by a confined person for a Sept. 4, 2007, incident involving Rodney Beckman. He was also ordered to pay $1,128 restitution.
* Maria G. Ramirez, also known as Maria L. Ramirez, 44, 823 E. 11th St., was sentenced to three years intensive supervision probation, 30 days in jail and time at the McCook Work Ethic Camp for failure to stop following a personal injury accident and second-offense driving under the influence. She was also ordered to pay a $200 fine and not to drive for 15 years. Charges of second-offense driving during suspension and possession of an open alcohol container in the vehicle were dismissed for the same incident.
* Avery L. West, 21, 516 E. 15th St., was sentenced to six months in prison for terroristic threats for a May 20, 2007, incident involving Caleb Meyers. A charge of using a knife to commit a felony was dismissed for the same incident.
* Kirsten C. Tunender, 19, 2916 N. Webb Road, was sentenced to three years probation and was ordered to pay $300 restitution for possession of methamphetamine for a March 9, 2007, incident.
Hall County Court
* Evert M. Ramirez, also known as Everett Ramirez, 17, 719 W. Ninth St., was charged with theft by unlawful taking for an Oct. 4, 2007, incident involving property of Michael Lynch.
* Clint Kirby, 39, Gonzales, La., was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and not having a drug tax stamp for a Feb. 6 incident.
* Jacob N. James, 29, 503 E. Eighth St., was charged with strangulation and third-degree domestic assault for a Feb. 6 incident involving Mer Both.
