In celebration of the 80th birthday of Anne Mae Haubold, her children will be hosting a surprise birthday party beginning at noon Saturday, Feb. 16, at Circle B Hall, 509 Gold Road, in Grand Island.

Her children are Robert and Carol Haubold of Tioga, Texas, Gene and Jackie Haubold of Silt, Colo., Wanda and Jerry McCurdy of Streater, Ill., Carol and John Seymour of Smithville, Mo., John and Darla Haubold of Kearney and Waunita and Rolland Dimmit, Kellie States and Bill and Linda Haubold, all of Grand Island. She has 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Anne Mae (Rasmussen) Haubold was born Feb. 22, 1928, in Cushing.
