Hegeholz-Roth

Melissa J. Hegeholz of Staplehurst and Jordan N. Roth of Seward exchanged wedding vows July 21, 2007, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Staplehurst. Pastor Dirk Reek officiated.

Brian and Debra Hegeholz of Staplehurst are parents of the bride. Parents of the groom are Allan and Jacquelyn Roth of Seward.

Maid of honor was Kaylee Hegeholz of Staplehurst, sister of the bride. Heather Kostal, Brandie Vejraska, Heather Hoffart and Ann Policky were bridesmaids. Personal attendants were Jamie Fritz and Jacy Liechti.

Brandon Hegeholz of Staplehurst, brother of the bride, was best man. Kyle Towle, Brett Stevens and cousins of the groom, Brandon Seim and Christopher Seim, were groomsmen. Ushering guests were Jeston Koch and Paul Eiting.

Candlelighters were Jeana Hegeholz and Brandee Soles, cousins of the bride.

Flower girl was Payton Andel, cousin of the bride, and ringbearer was Carter Seim, cousin of the groom.

Music was provided by organist Kenyon Seim, uncle of the groom, and vocalist and guitarist Ryan Castle. Guest book attendants were Mollie and Robin Seim, cousins of the groom.

Special guests were grandparents of the groom, LeRoy and Verona Seim, and grandparents of the bride, Gerald and Imogene Hegeholz and Dick and Jean Gardner. Special guest of the bride's family was Norbert Janz from Gevelinghausen, Germany.

A reception at Seward County Ag Pavilion followed the ceremony. Host and hostess couples were aunts and uncles of the groom, Daniel and Chelley Seim, Kenyon and Cheryl Seim and Robyn and Betty Seim, and aunts and uncles of the bride, David and Karrie Hegeholz and Chip and Sheree Soles. Also assisting at the reception were Sarah Soles, Samantha Gardner, Ciara Hegeholz and Brittney Hackbart, cousins of the bride; Brooke Gardner, Melinda Stoll, Susan Hackbart and Vickie Hegeholz, aunts of the bride; Jannelle Seim, cousin of the groom, and Shannon Osenbaugh.

After a wedding trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., the couple live in Des Moines, Iowa.

The couple are both 2003 graduates of Seward High School.

The bride received a bachelor of arts degree in German and history from Doane College at Crete in 2007. She teaches German for Valley High School in West Des Moines, Iowa.

The groom received an associate of applied science degree in agricultural business and management technology from Southeast Community College at Beatrice in 2006. He is assistant superintendent of grounds and equipment manager for The Harvester Golf Course in Rhodes, Iowa.
