Happold-Wilton

Exchanging wedding vows Nov. 17, 2007, at Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grand Island were Breanne Happold of Grand Island and Ben Wilton of York. Officiating was Pastor Harold Stromer.

The bride is the daughter of Robert Happold of Grand Island and the late Debra Happold. Daryl and Linda Wilton of York are parents of the groom.

Matron of honor was Erica McMullen of Omaha. The bride's other attendants were Tracy Hemmer, Gabrielle Happold, Jennifer Nordhues, Kate Melson and Sarah Latenser.

Mark Manning of Lincoln was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Grant Leach, C.J. Happold, Kyle Nordhues, Jared Hardy and Tom Ratzlaff.

Candlelighters were Taylor Kooker and Carston Staehr. Leah Stade was reader.

Camryn Happold and Reagan Pruitt were flower girls and Reece McBride was ringbearer.

Music was provided by Warren Rodgers, organist, and Rachel Rowley, soloist. Attending the guest book were Arin Staehr and Kyley Cosgriff.

Special guests were grandparents Sylvia Happold and Joe Obermeier.

A reception at the Interstate Holiday Inn followed the ceremony. The couple honeymooned at various islands in Fiji.

The bride, a 2000 graduate of Grand Island Senior High, received a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she majored in criminal justice. She is pursuing her master's degree in education from the College of St. Mary in Omaha.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of York High School. He received his bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from UNL and his juris doctorate from the University of Nebraska Law School. He works for Altra Biofuels as director of environmental health and safety.
