Maybe it's all that leftover love in the air this weekend is a particularly busy one in Central Nebraska. Here's a rundown of the events in our area.
Theater

* "Twelfth Night," presented by Grand Island Senior high, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and2 p.m. Sunday, GISH Little Theater. Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for students.
* "Zombie Prom," a musical presented by Kearney High School, 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, Kearney High School, 3610 Sixth Ave., Kearney. Advance tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for K-12 students and are available at the school's main office, Snickerdoodle's, Shopping Tripps and Come and Get It. * "Who Murdered My Sweetheart?" an interactive dinner theater, 6 p.m. Saturday, the Platt-Duetsche, 1315 W. Anna. * Red Cross Chili Cook-Off, 20 annual event, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Fonner Park. More than 40 types of chili, celebrity judges, voting for favorites and various awards; to benefit the Central Plains Chapter of the Red Cross. Information: Donna Titman, 382-3790.
* "Death by Chocolate: Wine Tasting Event" a collaboration of Habitat for Humanity and the Grand Island Little Theatre to raise money for Habitat, 6 to 7:15 p.m. Saturday, College Park. The event (for participants age 21 and older), planned in conjunction with GILT's "Dial M for Murder," will feature several Nebraska wines, enjoy chocolate and other treats, followed by the play. * Kolache Shoot-Out, Sunday, Elba High School gym. Registration for the kolache bake show will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Judging will take place at 11 a.m., and awards will be given from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Other events include a polka mass at 10 a.m., followed by dinner at the church, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; bake sale and entertainment.
