* Trenton Lilienthal, 2112 W. First St., reported a burglary there. One person was arrested.

Hall County Sheriff

Law enforcement arrested five people on warrants in six cases. No felonies were reported.

* John C. Garaas, also known as John C. Starke, 31, 2027 N. Huston Ave., was charged with two counts of failure to appear for a Feb. 5 incident.

* Melvin A. Mendoza, also known as Melvin Mendoza-Caceres, Melvin Alexander-Mendoza and Alex Mendoza, 23, 720 E. Ninth St. Apt. 4, was charged with third-degree domestic assault subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia for a Feb. 14 incident.

* Scott M. Earl, 31, Palmer, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and driving during suspension for a Feb. 13 incident.

* Jason Hawkins, 25, Plattsmouth, was charged with burglary for a Feb. 14 incident.

* Leon J. Two Eagle, 29, 423 N. Elm St., was charged with possession of Flurazepam and false reporting for a Feb. 14 incident.

* Benjamin E. Landis, 34, 5180 W. Capital Ave., was charged with strangulation and felony child abuse for a Feb. 7 incident.

* Charles L. Ramsey, 45, Shelton, was charged with the unauthorized use of a financial transaction device for a Nov. 2, 2007, incident.

* Shelly M. Andrade, 32, 1204 Cedar Ridge Court Apt. 207, was charged with second-offense writing insufficient/no funds checks for an Aug. 21, 2007, incident.

Driving under the influence

Miguel A. Garcia, 36, 2419 N. Huston, second-offense, $500, 30 days in jail, one year no driving; Robert A. Wit, 40, 3802 E. Seedling Mile Road, $400, seven days in jail, six months no driving; Scott A. Carstens, 49, Juniata, $400, nine months probation, 60 days no driving.
