MINDEN A huge fourth quarter rally spurred Kenesaw to a 49-45 upset of Class D-1 No. 4-rated (Omaha World-Herald) Silver Lake (18-3) to claim the championship of the Class D-1, Subdistrict 4 tournament.
The Blue Devils (16-6) trailed 39-28 but blitzed the Mustangs 21-6 in the fourth quarter for the victory.
Megan Adams and Jill Kroll keyed the comeback as they both scored six points in the final period.
Deidra Ground paced the well-balanced Kenesaw attack with 14 points.

CENTRAL CITY Jordyn Kuhnel and Morgan Walgren combined for 27 points to lead Osceola (12-10) to a 50-42 win over Palmer (7-13) in the finals of the Class D-1, Subdistrict 5 tournament.
Kuhnel led all scorers with 16 points, while Walgren added 11 for the Bulldogs.
Courtney Wells paced the Tigers with 13 points.

Clinging to a one point lead entering the fourth quarter, Giltner outscored the Storm 14-9 to ice the win.
