A $308,500 addition to the passenger terminal at the Central Nebraska Regional Airport was the costliest project that received a building permit in January from the Grand Island Building Inspection Department.
Overall, valuations for 2008 are behind 2007 numbers, with $2,225,944 in January 2008 compared to $5,754,849 in valuations for January 2007. The number of permits issued is up from last year, however, with 138 permits issued last month compared to 112 during the same month in 2007.
