First United Methodist Church in Kearney will be the setting of the March 8, 2008, wedding of Chelsie Lammers and Tyler Doane, both of Wood River.

Parents of the future bride are Nick and Pat Lammers of Wood River. Kaye and Cathy Doane, also of Wood River, are parents of the prospective groom.

The couple are both 2001 graduates of Wood River Rural High School.

Miss Lammers received a bachelor of science degree in human biology from Chadron State College in 2005. She graduated in 2007 with her master of physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is a physician's assistant for the Nebraska Heart Institute in Grand Island.

Doane received a bachelor of science in physics from Hastings College in 2005 and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2007. He is a civil engineer for JEO Consulting Group in Grand Island.
