Central Community College will present "Mentoring by the Masters," an interactive University of Nebraska-Lincoln video conference, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 26 at its Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses.
The video conference is open to the public free of charge.
It will meet in the West Education Center, Room 208, at the Columbus Campus; in the Distance Learning Center, Room 101, at the Grand Island Campus; and in the Platte Building, Room 125, at the Hastings Campus.
Glenn Friendt, director of the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship, will moderate the discussion from Lincoln. Panel members will share their lessons of entrepreneurial success and then respond to questions from the statewide audience.
CCC offers an 18-semester-hour certificate in entrepreneurship as part of the business program.
It covers business opportunity analysis, marketing, legal issues, finance, taxes and developing a business plan. The program is offered as a stand-alone certificate as well as an area of emphasis in CCC's associate of applied science degree in business.
