Grand Island men report drive-by shooting

Two Grand Island men reported being shot at Saturday night as they walked along Sixth Street.

Grand Island Police Capt. Robert Falldorf said Andres Cabrales and Roberto Lopez told officers they were walking east on Sixth Street near north Cedar when a car went by firing shots at the men.

The shooting occurred about 11:27 p.m.

Neither man was injured. No property damage was reported either.

Police reports had no addresses or ages for the men, but Falldorf said both were adults.

The car was described as a dark, blue Ford Taurus with tinted windows.

The number of shots fired and direction of travel of the vehicle were not included in the police report.

Falldorf said the shooting is under investigation.
