KEARNEY < Jade Meads scored a game-high 27 points Thursday night to help the Nebraska-Kearney women down Regis (Colo.) 85-75 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play at the UNK Health and Sports Center.
Amy Mathis added 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting for the Lopers, who shot 52.4 percent from the floor. Nebraska-Kearney's Melissa Hinkley chipped in with 10 points.
Mathis led UNK with 12 rebounds as it outboarded Regis 42-29.
Breanne Burley scored 24 points to lead Regis (13-13, 9-9). Stevi Seitz added 14 points, Paulina Tuell had 13 points and Lauren Luebbe finished with 10 for the visitors.

Parker leads UNK men past Regis, 73-67
KEARNEY Josiah Parker led Nebraska-Kearney with a game-high 24 points and 13 rebounds as the Loper men defeated Regis (Colo.) 73-67 Thursday night in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play at the Health and Sports Center.
Ravenna sophomore Drake Beranek added 20 points, 14 rebounds and five assists for UNK (14-12, 12-6 RMAC). St. Edward freshman Jeremy Cruise had 11 points and four assists for the Lopers.
James Bulluck and Geramey Gibson scored 19 points apiece for Regis (13-13, 8-10). Grand Island Central Catholic graduate Kenny Howard had four points and two blocked shots off the bench for the visitors from Denver before fouling out.
