Verba, Yendra, Saddler hired as Indulge Salon cosmetologists
Indulge Salon and Spa has added Jackie Verba, Kori Yendra and Brooke Saddler as cosmetologists.
Verba will be responsible for family haircuts and styles, coloring and highlighting, manicures and facial waxing. She graduated from Joseph's College of Beauty. Since then, she has been continuing her education and participating in hair shows. She worked for more than five years at different salons in Grand Island.
Yendra will be responsible for hair cutting, styling, texture waving and waxing. She graduated from Joseph's College of Beauty and has been continuing her education. She previously worked in a full-service salon for six years and was a salon manager.
Saddler will be responsible for coloring, perming, haircuts, facials and manicures. She graduated from Joseph's College of Beauty and has been continuing her education by taking classes and participating in hair shows. She has five years of experience working at local salons.

Odle promoted to press foreman
Bruce Odle has been promoted to the position of pressroom foreman at The Independent. He previously held the position of shift supervisor in the pressroom.
Odle has an extensive background in newspaper and commercial printing, with more than 18 years of experience.
He began his career at The Independent in 1990 after graduating from Central Community College-Hastings, where he studied all aspects of printing with his major focus on large-format presses. He returned to The Independent in 2006 after spending seven years as press foreman at the Victoria Advocate and one year at the Hastings Tribune. Odle lives in Grand Island.
Maurices names new store manager
Maurices, a national specialty store based in Duluth, Minn., has named Rebecca Brittion as store manager in Grand Island.
Brittion is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales performance, visual presentation and personnel recruitment and training.
Maurices focuses on clothing in sizes 1-24. Established in 1931, Maurices is wholly owned by Dressbarn Inc., a fashion retailer for young women. The company operates 600 stores in 43 states.
