Baker-Dann

Exchanging wedding vows April 26, 2008, at Peace Lutheran Church in Grand Island are Tammy Lynn Baker and Dr. Adam James Dann, both of Ballwin, Mo.

Parents of the bride-elect are William and LaDonna Baker of Grand Island. James and Shari Dann of Marathon, N.Y., are parents of the prospective groom.

Miss Baker graduated in 1997 from Grand Island Northwest High. She received a bachelor of arts in biology from Grinnell College at Grinnell, Iowa, in 2001. In 2004, she received her master of public health from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities at Minneapolis. She is a student at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine at Kirksville, Mo., and will receive her doctor of osteopathy this May.

Dann is a 1999 graduate of Marathon Central High. He received a bachelor of science in biology from State University of New York-Binghamton in 2003. He received his doctor of osteopathy from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at Old Westbury, N.Y., in 2007. He is a first year resident physician in orthopedic surgery for Des Peres Hospital in Des Peres, Mo.
