United in marriage Dec. 29, 2007, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Island were Courtney Chmelka of Grand Island and Brady Snodgrass of Auburn. Father Richard Piontkowski performed the ceremony.

Dave and Carole Chmelka of Grand Island are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Marilyn Snodgrass of Auburn and the late Tom Snodgrass.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Grand Island Senior High. She received a bachelor of journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000. She works as a clinical technician.

The groom graduated from Auburn High School in 1993. He received an associate degree of applied science in computer programming from Lincoln School of Commerce at Lincoln in 1995. He is lead network engineer for FNTS.
