Sara and Cory Rohren

Sara Marie Wagnitz of Grand Island and Cory Douglas Rohren of Seward were united in marriage Aug. 4, 2007, at Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln. The Rev. Dr. Luke Schnake officiated.

Parents of the bride are Lloyd W. and Susan Wagnitz of Grand Island. The groom is the son of Kay Rohren of Seward and the late Douglas Rohren.

Maid of honor was Rachel Wagnitz of Lincoln, sister of the bride. Bridget Dieckman, Jennifer McGowen and Stephanie McGowen were bridesmaids. Sherry Meyer, aunt of the groom, was personal attendant.

Nate Buss of Lincoln was best man. Groomsmen were David Ross, Zach Willet and Jeremy Ahlman. Ushering guests were Matthew Wagnitz, the bride's brother, and Chad and Cole Rohren, brothers of the groom.

Music was provided by harpist Rachel Wagnitz, trumpeter Joe Skarka and vocalists Cole Pomeroy and David Ross. There was also prerecorded music by Sara Wagnitz, pianist, and Rachel Wagnitz, violinist, playing "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring."

Abby Harms attended the guest book.

A reception at the Bristo Ballroom in Lincoln followed the ceremony. After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple live in Lincoln.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Grand Island Northwest. She received a bachelor of science in elementary education from Concordia University at Seward. She is a preschool teacher for Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

The groom graduated from Lincoln Lutheran at Lincoln in 2000. He received a bachelor of science in sports management from CU. He works for the Information Technology Institute as a client analyst.
