Two Grand Island men have been charged in Hall County Court with a shooting at a wrestling business.

Cody R. Granfield, 21, and Ryan D. Redinger, 21, were arrested Friday at their homes.

Granfield, of 309 W. Hedde St., Apt. 25, is charged with using a pistol to commit a felony, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a gun by a felon all felonies and misdemeanor criminal mischief.

Redinger, of 4223 Lariat Place, is charged with aiding and abetting criminal mischief and aiding and abetting the use of a pistol to commit a felony.

According to court documents, Granfield fired numerous shots into the interior of the Independent Professional Wrestling School, 4413 E. Highway 30, using a 9 mm handgun. The shooting caused more than $1,500 in damage, according to court documents.

Hall County Sheriff's Capt. Todd Bahensky said seven shots were fired into the business, which was unoccupied at the time, sometime late Feb. 19 or early Feb. 20.

Redinger provided the handgun and then hid the weapon at his home after the shooting, according to court documents.

He also told authorities he was driving a vehicle involved in a drive-by shooting at 1618 N. Cedar St. while Granfield shot at the residence. He also told deputies he supplied the gun and was in the vehicle during a drive-by shooting at 2607 W. Division, according to court documents. Further details about those shootings weren't available Monday.

Investigators determined the shooting at the wrestling school was part of an ongoing feud the men have with the business owner, Jose Gonzalez, according to court documents.

As a result, a high bond was requested "as future repercussions are predicted," according to court documents.

Granfield's bond was set at 10 percent of $200,000 and Redinger's bond was set at 10 percent of $50,000. Their preliminary hearings are scheduled for 11 a.m. April 24.
