Grand Island Police

The following felony was reported:

* Filemon Sanchez, 1920 W. 10th St., reported theft of an icing spray gun at 218 S. Wheeler Ave.

Hall County Sheriff

Law enforcement arrested eight people on warrants in 12 cases. The following felony was reported:

* Cynthia Brown, Cairo, reported burglary to a garage there.

Hall County Jail

The Hall County Jail has 123 inmates, booked in 22 people and released 16 people.

Hall County District Court

* Jose I. Perez, 51, Madrid, was sentenced to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for attempted possession of a firearm by a felon. He was also sentenced to three months in jail for failure to appear, a misdemeanor.

* Joshua A. Thulin, 19, 415 S. Cherry St., Apt. S1, pleaded no contest to felony theft by unlawful taking for a Dec. 21 incident. He also pleaded no contest to possession of burglar's tools for a June 14 incident. His sentencing in both cases is set for April 16.

* Ryan D. Hauf, 23, Hastings, pleaded no contest to felony insufficient funds check/no funds check for an April 2 incident. He was sentenced to 79 days in jail and $144.98 restitution.

* Griselda Grier, 26, 1304 E. Sixth St., pleaded no contest to attempted third-degree assault on a police officer and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. The first charge was amended from third-degree assault on a police officer, a felony. Her sentencing is set for April 16.

* Grant McComb, 21, 116 W. Sixth St., pleaded no contest to distribution of a controlled substance for a June 14 incident. His sentencing is set for April 16.

Hall County Court

* Nyamal G. Wuol, 19, 717 N. Vine St., was charged with felony assault by a confined person for a Feb. 4 incident.

* Christopher M. Klein, 20, 119 W. 11th St., was charged with violation of the sexual offender registration act for a Feb. 28 incident.

* Gina Padilla, 28, 822 E. Oklahoma Ave., was sentenced to a $400 fine, 18 months probation and 60 days no driving for attempted possession of methamphetamine and first-offense driving under the influence, both misdemeanors. The first charge was reduced from possession of methamphetamine, a felony.

* Shane M. McIntosh, 28, Kenesaw, was charged with third-offense aggravated driving under the influence, a felony, as well as first-offense driving under suspension, a misdemeanor, for a Feb. 21 incident.

Racquel L. Hamilton, 19, 1704 S. Lincoln St., first offense, $400, six months probation, 60 days no driving; Trish E. Probst, North Loup, second offense, $500, 12 months probation, 240 hours community service, one year no driving.
