SALINA, Kan. < The Hastings College baseball team used a power surge to post a 14-3 win over Central Christian Saturday as the Broncos hit four home runs in the game.

Josh Mondragon had two three-run homers for Hastings, while Chris Denny went deep with the bases loaded for the Broncos' first grand slam of the year. Denny also had one double.

Pat Morey, last weeks hero on the mound, was strong with the bat as he also had a homer for the Broncos.

Alex Kucera was the winning pitcher for Hastings, which was scheduled to later play Kansas Wesleyan.
