Hall County Sheriff

Law enforcement arrested six people on warrants in five cases. The following felonies were reported:

* Ryan Redinger, 4223 Lariat Lane, reported an assault at the Hall County Jail.

* Tiffany Rietsema, Kearney, reported damage to a vehicle at 5074 W. Highway 30.

The Hall County Jail has 132 inmates, booked in 49 people and released 33 people.

Hall County Court

* Travis A. Fleming, 18, 716 W. Charles St., was charged with possession of methamphetamine for a March 3 incident.

* Jorge Tercero-Jacinto, 27, 1424 W. Third St., No. 1, was charged with felony child abuse for a Feb. 29 incident.

* Jacob N. James, 29, 503 E. Eighth St., was charged with first-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony for a March 3 incident involving Mer Both.

* Ricardo M. Garcia-Hernandez, 30, 604 W. John St., was charged with first-degree sexual assault on a child for an incident between Jan. 1, 2007, and Feb. 19, 2008.

* Shon R. Westfall, 29, 1528 Allen Ave., was sentenced to 180 days in jail for third-degree assault for an Aug. 10 incident.

Driving under the influence

Edward Henard, 41, 901 W. First St., second offense, $500, 30 days jail, one year no driving.
