Homegrown fuel conference to be conducted Friday in Ord

ORD The Loup Basin Resource Conservation and Development Council Ag Diversity Network is holding a "grow your own fuel" workshop Friday at the Valley County Ag Complex in Ord.

The workshop will cover growing, storing, processing and uses of byproducts. Crops covered will include sunflowers, safflower, canola, camelina and mustard.

The program runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration is $15 at the door. For more information, call the Loup Basin RC&D office at (308) 728-3393.
