Schedule changes for NU-Northern Colorado series

LINCOLN University of Nebraska baseball coach Mike Anderson announced changes for this weekend's series against Northern Colorado.

The two teams will now open the four-game series with a single game Saturday afternoon at 2:05 p.m. with a doubleheader scheduled for Sunday at 12:05 p.m. and the finale set for 1:35 p.m. on Monday.

"When we looked at the forecasts for Friday and this weekend, we decided to push the series back a day," Anderson said. "The decision was made for two reasons. First, in looking at the cold temperatures expected on Friday, the health of the players and fans of both teams were taken into consideration. The other important factor was by making this change Wednesday, it allows the student-athletes of both programs to meet their academic needs."

Fans who had purchased tickets for Saturday and Sunday's games should use their ticket for admittance on those days. For fans who had purchased season (labeled as ticket No. 5 in the season-ticket package) or single-game tickets for Friday's game, two options are available.

The ticket may be used for the ballpark on Monday, including all suites and reserved sections, or used as a general admission ticket for any remaining regular-season game, depending on seating availability.
