The Northwest school board will be asked to approve the location of an entrance to the football stadium and track and also approve a laptop computer lease program for teachers when it meets on Monday night.
Other items on the agenda include approving a preschool grant application and approving the district calendar for 2008-09 and 2009-10.
School for the coming year would start Aug. 14 under the proposed calendar.
All the proposed action items will be preceded by reports, with Cedar Hollow Principal Steve Morris giving a report on the calendar, teachers Chris May and Dave Cushing giving a report on the laptop computers and other technology issues, board member Kim Meyer reporting on the entrance to the athletic facility and St. Libory Principal Jeff Ellsworth and Chapman Principal Rahn VanderHamm reporting on the proposed preschool grant application.
The board also will recognize Mike Witt as All State North team head coach, Hadley Cooksley for placing second in state wrestling, Jeff Mills for placing fourth in state wrestling and Ariel Lahowetz for placing sixth in state swimming.
Superintendent Bill Mowinkel also will talk about state testing.
