His family includes his wife Eunice; and children Steve and Darlene Kehler of Lincoln, Pat and Jack Pickering of Aurora and Katrina and Pete Letheby of Grand Island. He has four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Kehler was born March 11, 1928, on a farm near Culbertson.
