ACTS OF KINDNESS

There are good people here

We often wonder, where are the good people in the world today? On Feb. 7 in a check-out line, my husband was pushing me in a wheel chair with a basket full of purchases. When it was our turn to check out, a young girl just ahead of us put everything of ours on the counter. Those around us noticed too. What a surprise and what a nice thing to do. Was this a random act of kindness? Thanks to the girl for her help to old people.

Thanks to staff at Skilled Care

As a patient here in Skilled Care, I'd like to thank all the staff and nurses for their great care and for all the little favors they do for us. We're like a happy family with dining together and other activities. We all recuperate faster with such loving care. Thanks guys and gals, I truly appreciate your kindness and help.

Thanks to my special friends too in Cairo.

Thanks for quick air in the tires

On Feb. 25, I was leaving at 7:15 a.m. to go work when I noticed one of my tires was low. A situation I didn't need on a Monday morning. I stopped at Garrett Tire Co. for assistance. The employee was so kind. He knew I needed to travel to work so he immediately filled the tire, checked all the other tires for the proper air pressure, smiled and sent me on my way. Thank you for this caring act of kindness, it made my day.

Returned purse

I wish to say "thank you" to the kind soul who returned my purse to customer service at Wal-Mart on Saturday, March 1. I was so distracted that day and foolishly left my purse either at the check-out stand or in my cart in the parking lot. Thank you for your honesty.
