Abundant Life Christian Center in Grand Island will be the setting April 5, 2008, when Britney White and Robert Ramirez of Grand Island are united in marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Deb and Troy Mettenbrink and Rick and Jenny White, all of Grand Island, and Karen Halverson of Omaha. She attended Grand Island Senior High and studied business technology at Central Community College-Grand Island. She is working for Hy-Vee in Grand Island.

The prospective groom is the son of Terri Gappa and Alfonso Ramirez and the grandson of Mel and Elna Gappa, all of Grand Island. He attended Grand Island Northwest High and served in the United States Navy until 2001. He works for Case IH.
