Grandson of Ermagene Hiser, nephew of Lana and Chuck Staab and son of Tammie and Kevin Heuer, Nathan Heuer, a junior, takes first at state in Colorado at the 171 lb. weight class.

Nathan wrestled for Northwest Wrestling Club in Grand Island and attended Dist. 1-R School before moving to Colorado to begin his sixth-grade year. Nathan was a Nebraska State Champion and a Champion of Champions in fourth-grade. After moving to Colorado, he was a youth State Champion in Colorado. His freshman year, he was state qualifier, his sophomore year he was second at state and this year, his junior year, he won state.
