Wedding vows were exchanged between Jacquelyn Rae Hespen of Norfolk and Staff Sgt. Daniel Allen Swanson of Grand Island on Feb. 19, 2008, in Shalimar, Fla.

Laura and Dennis Joy of Springfield, Ark., are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Harold and Darlene Pendley of Rogers.

Parents of the groom are Hank and Carla Swanson of Phillips. Grandparents of the groom are Ben and Phyllis Swanson and Marilyn LeBeau, all of Grand Island, and the late Stewart Pascoe.

The bride graduated from Norfolk Senior High in 2002. She is an administrative assistant for the Army National Guard.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Grand Island Senior High. He is a crew chief for the U.S. Air Force.
