The Grand Island Veterans Home has lifted its ban on outside visitors as of Monday morning.
According to a press release from the home, members and staff were treated with anti-viral medication and were able to contain a flu outbreak that occurred last week.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, five cases of Influenza A and B were confirmed at the home.
While the campus is now open to visitors, vets home officials request that anyone who feels ill refrain from visiting.
All other regular activities at the home have resumed.
