Cities to test outdoor warning sirens Saturday

The Grand Island-Hall County outdoor warning sirens will be tested at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The regular test signal will be sounded for one minute.

In the event of an actual emergency, the sirens would be sounded for three to five minutes, signaling people to turn to a local radio or television station for information.

Sirens will be tested in Grand Island, Alda, Cairo, Doniphan and Wood River.
