The following felonies were reported:
* Samantha Area, 219 S. Vine St., reported criminal mischief there. A vehicle was damaged.
* John Dau, 118 S. Vine St., Apt. 4, reported a burglary there.
* Diane Butler, 2105 S. Locust St., reported unauthorized use of a financial transaction device.
Hall County Sheriff
Law enforcement arrested eight people on warrants in nine cases. No felonies were reported.

The Hall County Jail has 121 inmates, booked in 14 people and released nine people.

Hall County District Court
* Adam C. Oakleaf, 21, Alda, pleaded no contest to attempted possession of methamphetamine, reduced from possession, for a July 1, 2007, incident. He was fined $500.
* Ann M. Olsen, also known as Ann M. Ruth, 38, was sentenced to 15 to 30 months in prison for driving during a 15-year license revocation for a July 31, 2007, incident. She was also ordered not to drive for 15 years.
* Brian E. Leetch, 28, 1116 W. Ninth St., was sentenced to eight months in jail for terroristic threats for a June 13, 2007, incident.
* Eric J. Garcia, 17, 1424 W. First St., was sentenced to one year probation and was ordered to pay $70 restitution for escape for an Aug. 9, 2007, incident.
Hall County Court
* Rocky R. Clark, 20, 233 S. Sycamore St., was charged with burglary for a March 11 incident.
* Joaquin Rodriquez, 24, 2604 Chanticleer St., Apt. E, was charged with criminal impersonation for an Oct. 19, 2005, incident.
* Hamzah Ahmed Darban, 34, homeless, Grand Island, currently Hall County Jail, was charged with making a terroristic threat for a March 6 incident.
Correction
West's new position
An article in Wednesday's Independent on Central City Superintendent Jeff West's resignation incorrectly stated the nature of his new position at ESU 13.
The program provides services to 21 school districts, and West will be overseeing those services, not the districts themselves.
