Dean and Joan Lau of Doniphan will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering.

Their family includes Mitch (Jona) Lau and Suzy (Brent) Rainforth, all of Doniphan, Kris (Dan) Atkin of Aurora, Colo., Jackie (Pete) Slusinski of Des Moines, Iowa, Shannon (Jamey) Beck of Clarks and Missy Lau of El Paso, Texas. They have 16 grandchildren.

Dean Lau and Joan Riggs were married March 20, 1958, in Tacoma, Wash.
