Beckie Lappe of Carroll, Iowa, and Trevor Petska of Ord will exchange wedding vows Aug. 23, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Willey, Iowa.

Parents of the bride-to-be are Leo and Jan Lappe of Carroll. Kerry and Shelly Petska of Ord are parents of the future groom.

Miss Lappe graduated in 2003 from Carroll High. She will graduate in August 2008 from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in travel and tourism.

Petska, a 2003 graduate of Ord High, will graduate this May from UNK with a degree in agribusiness. He plans to ranch with his father and brothers near Ord.
