Rebecca Spidle and Timothy Spires of Hordville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Dee Spidle to Jason Joseph Copeland, son of Joe and Lanette Copeland of Waukee, Iowa.

Lauren is a graduate of Central City High School and Grand View College where she majored in journalism.

Jason is a graduate of Waukee High School and Indian Hills Community College where he majored in automotive technology.

The couple are planning an August wedding.
