Kristen Luther of Grand Island and Jerome Schrad of Omaha were united in marriage Oct. 13, 2007, at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Grand Island. Father Jack Rademacher performed the ceremony.

Clayton and Marilyn Luther of Grand Island are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Joan and Francis Schrad of Omaha.

The bride, a 1988 graduate of Grand Island Senior High, graduated from Creighton University in 1992 and from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2006. She is a dentist for Gentle Dental.

The groom graduated from Roncalli High in 1983. He received a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he received his MBA in 1996. He is a business analyst for Chief.
