Wedding vows were exchanged between Angela Joy Tetschner of Burwell and Michael Thomas Hilkemeier of Broken Bow on June 2, 2007, at Congregational United Church of Christ in Burwell. Officiating was the Rev. Bob Brauninger.

The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Sherry Tetschner of Burwell. Thomas and Donna Hilkemeier of Broken Bow are parents of the groom.

The bride graduated from Burwell Junior/Senior High in 2007. She is a first-year student at Southeast Community College at Lincoln pursuing an associate degree in human services. She works for Jimmy John's Sandwich Restaurant in Lincoln.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Broken Bow High School. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force from 2003 to 2005. He works for Casey's Quick Shop in Lincoln.
