There are three categories: one for CCC students who are enrolled at least half time; one for students in kindergarten through 12th grade at any public or private Nebraska school; and one for Nebraska residents of any age.

The theme is "America: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow." Prizes will be given for the best short story, poetry, poster, photography, short film, painting/watercolor/sketch and cartoon entries in each category. The prizes will be awarded on April 22 at the CCC Earth Day Celebration.

Entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. on March 24 to Jannelle Siem in the Adams Building at CCC-Hastings. For contest rules, deadlines and entry forms, go to the college's Web site at cccneb.edu.
