Hudson's hat trick rallies Storm to win over Lincoln

LINCOLN Alex Hudson scored the final three goals of the game, all on the power play, to lead Tri-City to a 4-3 come-from-behind overtime victory over Lincoln on Friday.

The Stars led 3-1 entering the final period. Hudson tied it up with power-play tallies at 7 minutes, 51 seconds and 16:57.

He netted the game-winner at 2:37 of overtime. Cameron Cooper assisted on all three Hudson goals.

Special teams got a workout with the teams combining for 21 power plays. Tri-City finished 3-for-12 while Lincoln went 1-for-9 with a shorthanded goal.

Daniel Heath put the Storm up 1-0 at 2:27 of the first. Jared Festler scored twice before the first intermission to give the Stars a 2-1 lead, and Ryan Kretzer made it 3-1 with a power-play score at 2:06 of the second.

Aaron Rock made 37 saves for Tri-City. Kevin Murdock had 28 for the Stars.
