The family of Fern Beed is having a card shower in honor of her 92nd birthday.

Fern was born March 31, 1916, in Orchard.

Her family includes 13 children, 48 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Her daughters include Shirley Yerton of Manlius, N.Y., Carolyn Kunze and Carol Seim, both of Grand Island, and the late Delores Landauer. Her sons include Duane of Fullerton, Eugene of Norman, Okla., Art of Alda, Richard of North Platte, Glen of Ft. Calhoun, Donald of Aurora, Dennis of Grand Island and Carl and Elwin, both of Palmer.
