Wedding vows will be exchanged on June 21, 2008, at St. Paul Methodist Church in Lincoln between Katie Lake and Jon Soneson of Lincoln.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jim Lake and Kim Sanderson of Salix, Iowa. Mark and Jeanine Soneson of St. Paul are parents of the prospective groom.

Miss Lake is a 2004 graduate of Westwood Community High School in Sloan, Iowa, and is a senior architecture major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She plans to attend graduate school at the University of Texas in Austin.

Soneson is a 2004 graduate of St. Paul Public School in St. Paul. He is a senior mechanical engineering major at UNL. Upon graduation, he will work as an applications engineer for National Instruments in Austin, Texas.
