Kristi Belzer and Chad Gideon, both of Wood River, were united in marriage Oct. 13, 2007, at Grace Lutheran Church in Wood River. Officiating was Pastor Michael Reiners.

Chuck and LaDonna Ortega of Grand Island and Jim Belzer of O'Neill are parents of the bride. Parents of the groom are Bill and Joyce Gideon of Wood River.

The bride graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1992. She works as a team leader for the Principal Financial Group.

The groom is a 1990 graduate of Wood River Rural High School. He is owner of Gideon Seeding & Sodding.
