Individuals interested in academic transfer programs at Central Community College are invited to attend an Academic Transfer Night April 16 at its Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Participants will learn about the academic transfer program and how it works, transfer agreements CCC has with four-year colleges and universities, tailoring the course of study to meet each student's educational goals, and the opportunity for high school students to earn college credit through the Early Entry Program.
Other activities will include CCC students sharing their experiences with transfer, a comparison of costs with other educational institutions, and a discussion of the 3 for Free Scholarship, which allows recipients to take three hours of college credit during the summer at CCC free of charge.
