BAKER To Kory Baker and Kara Marlin of Aurora, a son born March 11 at St. Francis Medical Center.

RATERMAN To Nathan and Amber ( Edwards) Raterman of Grand Island, a daughter born March 22 at St. Francis Medical Center. Grandparents are Ken and Sheryl Edwards of Cairo and Deanna and Gary Raterman of O'Neill.

Grand Island Police

The following felonies were reported:

* Linda Holmes, Lincoln, reported a theft at 808 W. North Front St.

* A 13-year-old reported a sexual assault in Grand Island.

* An 18-year-old woman reported a sexual assault in Grand Island. A man was arrested

Hall County Sheriff

Law enforcement arrested eight people on warrants in 12 cases. No felonies were reported.

The Hall County Jail has 129 inmates, booked in 35 people and released 30 people.

Hall County District Court

* Ronnie G. Pichler, 49, 1914 N. Huston, had a charge of possession of methamphetamine dismissed for a March 5, 2006, incident. He has completed the Central Nebraska Drug Court program.

* Hilary R. Heimbuch, 23, 418 W. Division No. 3, had charge of burglary dismissed for an Oct. 30, 2005, incident. She has completed the Central Nebraska Drug Court program.

* Donald S. McCain, 52, 210 W. Sixth St., had a charge of driving during 15 year license revocation dismissed for a June 6, 2006, incident. He has completed the Central Nebraska Drug Court program.

Hall County Court

* Brian C. Rieflin, 41, Clarks, was sentenced to 60 days in jail and one year probation for attempted possession of Lorcet, reduced from possession, for a Sept. 10, 2007, incident.

* Sarah J. Larson, 35, 522 W. Second St., was charged with assault by a confined person for a March 23 incident.

* Quentin J. Taylor, also known as Jayson Taylor, 27, 320 E. Nebraska Ave., was charged with theft by unlawful taking for a March 22 incident involving property of Ashley Roenfeldt.

* Marc A. Chessmore, 26, 720 Church Road, was charged with first-degree sexual assault for a March 22 incident.

* James B. Greenwood Jr., 49, Portland, Texas, was charged with possession of methamphetamine for a March 21 incident.

* Bryan Van Richardson Jr., 23, 110 N. Arthur, was charged with theft by unlawful taking for a March 22 incident involving property of Ashley Roenfeldt.

* Terry D. Reed, 52, Portland, Texas, was charged with possession of a rifle by a felon for a March 21 incident.

* Jonathan M. Barber, 22, 2612 N. Webb Road, Apt. 11, was charged with second-degree forgery for a Jan. 20 incident.

* Edwin A. Argueta, 28, 412 N. Elm St., was charged with first-degree sexual assault on a child for an incident that occurred between Jan. 10 and Feb. 8.

* Jose J. Iniguez, 22, 116 W. Ninth St., was charged with first-degree sexual assault on a child for an incident that occurred between June 1, 2006, and Dec. 31, 2006.

* Eliezer A. Nunez, 32, Gardena, Calif., was charged with failure to stop following an injury accident for a Feb. 12 incident.

* Michaela S. Wells, 18, Kearney, was charged with second-degree forgery for a Dec. 21, 2007, incident.

* Troy D. Utley, also known as Troy Hall, 42, Alda, was charged with second-degree forgery for a Jan. 20 incident.

Driving under the influence

Juan M. Cervantes, 39, 421 E. Fifth St., Apt. 1, $400, six months probation, 60 days no driving; Stephen J. Ripp, 48, Wood River, $400, one year probation, 60 days no driving.
