The Garfield, Loup and Wheeler Counties Association for Family and Community Education (FCE) will be hosting a Tea and Tidbits at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Parish Center in Burwell.

The late afternoon tea will feature Anita Sue Clement presenting "Everyday Lives of Western Women." Clement will combine slides with narrative to explore the lives of Western women in the home and on the job in the late 19th and 20th centuries. The program is made possible by the Nebraska Humanities Council and the GLW FCE as part of the NHC Speakers Bureau.

Following the presentation, the GLW FCE will serve refreshments, including tea, fruits and vegetables, and tea sandwiches. The program is free; however, there will be a $5 charge for the refreshments. The money raised at the Tea and Tidbits program will be used to provide scholarships for area youths.

Also on display will be the FCE Heritage Skills entries and entries from the FCE sponsored school projects. The public is invited to attend and no reservations are required.
