Red Cross fundraiser set

The Wednesday Group of Mid-Nebraska Individual Services is sponsoring a fundraiser for the military through the Red Cross from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. April 5 at St. Mary's Cathedral.

The Waffle Man will be there serving Belgian waffles, sausage and drinks for $5 per person. Children ages 4 and under are free.

All proceeds will go to the Red Cross for phone cards for military personnel overseas and postage for care packages. The Wednesday Group of MNIS will also be collecting blankets for Project Husker Heat.
