The following felonies were reported:
* Harvest Time Baptist Church, 1125 Beal St., reported a second-degree arson. A storage shed was damaged.
* Daniel Torres, 216 Ingalls St., reported a second-degree assault there. A person was referred to the Hall County attorney's office.
* Ignacio Rojas, 215 E. 14th St., reported a theft there. A stereo was stolen from a vehicle.
* Jose Lucero, 1210 E. Seventh St., reported a theft at 320 E. 13th St. A stereo was stolen from a vehicle.
Hall County Sheriff
Law enforcement arrested 8 people on warrants in 12 cases. No felonies were reported.

* Ashley E. Arriaza-Tangeman, also known as Ashley Tangeman, 20, 1019 W. Seventh St., pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine for a Dec. 3, 2007, incident. Her trial is scheduled for June.
* Timothy A. Feighner, 26, Lakeport, Calif., pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and not having a drug tax stamp for a Nov. 25, 2007, incident. His trial is scheduled for June.
* Benjamin R. Kosmicki, 23, 803 W. Koenig, No. 2, was sentenced to one to two years in prison for distribution of marijuana for a Dec. 16, 2005, incident.
* Cody R. Granfield, 21, 309 W. Hedde St., Apt. 25, pleaded not guilty to second-degree assault for a Jan. 6 incident involving Jose Gonzalez. His trial is scheduled for June.
* Shad A. Fowler, 37, Grand Island, pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia for a Feb. 24 incident, and aiding and abetting possession of methamphetamine for a Nov. 30, 2007, incident. His trials are scheduled for June.
Hall County Court
* Stephanie A. Allen, 25, 1004 Sherman Ave., was sentenced to 18 months probation for misdemeanor child abuse, reduced from a felony, resisting arrest and violating a protection order for a Dec. 28, 2007, incident.
* Hamzah A. Darban, 34, Grand Island, had a charge of terroristic threats dismissed for a Dec. 3, 2007, incident involving James Deng. He also had a charge of assault by a confined person dismissed for a March 2 incident involving Ryan D. Redinger.
* Annette M. Mason, also known as Annette Tapia, 36, 318 E. Fifth St., had a charge of aiding and abetting distribution of methamphetamine dismissed for a Feb. 14 incident.
Driving under the influence
Rojelio Rodriguez, 28, Harvard, $400, six months probation, 60 days no driving; Oscar Popoca-Garnica, also known as Oscar Garnica, 21, 375 N. Greenwich, Apt. 1, $400, nine months probation, 60 days no driving.

Airport authority meeting April 9
The next meeting of the Hall County Airport Authority is scheduled for 8 a.m. April 9. This was incorrect in Wednesday's edition of The Independent.
92 percent participation at Principal Group
Ninety-two percent of Principal Financial Group employees participated in the Heartland United Way campaign. The word "percent" was missing in a story about the campaign in the March 19 Independent and in an editorial in Saturday's edition.
