Four people suffered minor injuries in an early morning accident Friday at Second and Eddy streets in Grand Island.
Grand Island Police Capt. Robert Falldorf said two witnesses said a car driven by Donna Moorer of Grand Island going westbound on Second Street ran a red light and struck a car going north on Eddy Street.
Moorer, 37, and two passengers in her vehicle were taken by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center, where all three were treated and released, according to a hospital spokeswoman. The passengers were Cyrah House, 15, and Olivia Moorer, 2.
Driving the other vehicle was Elizabeth Lamken, 26, of Grand Island. Although police listed her as suffering a minor injury, St. Francis had no record of her being treated there.
Falldorf said he didn't know if the construction on Second Street played any part in the accident, but there was heavy traffic when the accident happened at 7:43 a.m.
Moorer was driving a 2001 Olds Bravado and Lamken was driving a 2005 Dodge SRX. Falldorf said everyone involved was either wearing a seat belt or restrained in a child seat.
